PlayMotion Kids Policies & Communication

We’re here to make movement fun and family-friendly! Below are our core policies so you know what to expect during your child’s PlayMotion experience.

Communication

Throughout the season, parents and center directors will receive regular updates, keeping you in the loop on what children are learning and any upcoming events or class news.

The season concludes with a celebration, giving your child a chance to shine and showcase their hard work!

Tuition & Payment

We offer several enrollment options, and our pricing is always transparent:

  • Summer or short sessions (6–8weeks): Pay per session

  • Full school-year programs: Pay in 9 equal monthly installments

Session payments are due at registration. Full season payments are auto-charged on the 1st of each month.

Late Fee: $5 if unpaid after the 10th.
AutoPay: Recommended for worry-free payments
Combo Discount: If your center has different class options, enroll in both for a 10% off discount.
Sibling Discount: 10% off for the second child

Dance students will be charged a costume fee in December and a recital fee in February. These are non-refundable after their due dates.

We do not issue refunds for absences due to vacation, minor illness, or personal scheduling conflicts. For long-term illness or injury, please contact your PlayMotion Program Director at hello@playmotionkids.com

Dress Code

​Clothing should be comfortable and easy to move in. For safety, children should wear sneakers or dance shoes (no sandals or flip-flops). For yoga, bare feet or sneakers are fine. Long hair should be pulled back. Costumes will be provided or ordered separately for dance class recital events.

Behavior Expectations

We create a positive, playful space for all children. We encourage listening, kindness, and participation. If a child consistently disrupts class or is unsafe, caregivers will be contacted to collaborate on a plan. Our goal is always to support each child’s success in the program.

Health & Safety

  • Children who are sick should not attend class.

  • PlayMotion follows each center’s health and safety guidelines, including protocols related to illness and sanitation.

  • If your child has allergies or health concerns, please alert your Program Director in advance.

Photo & Video Policy

​We love capturing the joy of learning! PlayMotion may take occasional photos or videos for parent updates or promotional purposes. If you prefer your child not be included, please indicate this on your registration form or notify your Program Director.

Withdrawal Policy

If your family needs to cancel, please email your Program Director at hello@playmotionkids.com. You will be responsible for tuition through the date of withdrawal. Costume or recital fees paid after their deadlines are non-refundable. 

Weather & Closures

​We allow one weather-related closure per season without a makeup class. Additional closures or any instructor-initiated cancellations will be rescheduled when possible.

School Breaks

We follow the Spring ISD Calendar for holidays and school closures. These are already factored into the tuition and do not affect payment schedules.
